Send Outs

Send Outs is for repeatable music delivery. Instead of rebuilding the same recipient list and message in several services, you save destinations by pack type, select the next music, and send from one composer.

Loops and Beats are separate

The Loops and Beats tabs maintain independent:
  • track eligibility;
  • saved destinations;
  • message and Email template;
  • pack number;
  • send history.
This prevents a loop workflow from inheriting beat recipients or numbering.

Add destinations

Each pack type can use supported destinations from connected services.

Discord

Select a channel that Motif can post to. If the server is unavailable, add the Motif bot to that server and refresh the channel list. Discord messages are optional and limited to the service’s message length.

Telegram

Select a writable chat, channel, or forum topic. Telegram does not use an Email subject.

Email

Create one or more mailing lists. A list can contain several recipients. Motif sends recipients as Bcc rather than exposing the full list to everyone. Email attachments for one send are limited to roughly 18 MB in total.

Prepare a pack

  1. Open Studio → Send Outs.
  2. Choose Loops or Beats.
  3. Confirm the saved destinations for that type.
  4. Search or sort Library audio by date, name, or BPM.
  5. Select the files for this pack.
  6. Review the message for each destination.
  7. For Email, review the subject and body.
  8. Send to the saved destinations.
Tracks that previously appeared in a pack of the same type carry a Sent badge.

Use the pack placeholder

An Email subject can include {pack}. Motif replaces it with the next pack number. The default subjects are Loop Pack #{pack} and Beat Pack #{pack}, so the fourth loop pack is sent as Loop Pack #4. This keeps numbering consistent without editing the template on every send.

Sending progress

Motif processes up to two destinations concurrently. A progress dock shows each destination moving through queued, sending, success, or failed. The final result can be:
  • success — every selected destination completed;
  • partial — at least one completed and at least one needs another try;
  • failed — no destination completed.
Do not resend the entire pack automatically after a partial result. Check history and retry only the destination that failed, otherwise successful recipients may receive duplicates.

Send history

History records the pack number, time, selected audio, overall result, and provider-specific results. A summary can show how many Gmail, Discord, or Telegram destinations completed. Open an entry to inspect files and failure reasons. To retry a destination that failed, start a new send to that destination only. Reaction summaries can appear for Telegram or Discord messages when the connected service reports them.
Send Outs delivers private packs. It does not create public YouTube videos or BeatStars listings. Use Content for publishing.
