Opportunities

Opportunities is for producer pitching where every destination has its own context. It combines contact knowledge, private notes, reusable copy, selected audio, and a history of packs sent to that destination.

Create an opportunity

Open Studio → Opportunities and create an entry. The available fields are:
  • artist / contact name — required identity for the opportunity;
  • contact type — A&R, Manager, Direct, Producer, Engineer, Label, or Other;
  • email — an Email destination when Gmail is connected;
  • telegram destination — a writable chat, channel, or topic when Telegram is connected;
  • type of sound they want — what this person or destination is looking for;
  • priority — High, Medium, or Low;
  • reference / notes — a private note that is never included in the send;
  • message template — reusable starting copy;
  • cover art — a visual identifier for the opportunity.
There is no separate pipeline status. Priority, sound type, pack count, and recent history are the primary signals.

Keep private context separate

Use reference for information that helps you choose music or remember a relationship but should never reach the recipient. Use message template only for wording you intend to reuse in the outgoing message. That distinction prevents internal notes from being copied into a send by mistake.

Compose a new pack

Open an opportunity and choose the next pack. Motif numbers packs for that opportunity and pre-fills a subject and message from its saved context.
  1. Choose Email, Telegram, or both when those destinations are available.
  2. Review the Email subject. The default includes the opportunity name and pack number.
  3. Review or rewrite the message.
  4. Select beats or loops from the Library.
  5. Confirm the final destinations and send.
Tracks already sent to that opportunity are marked Sent and moved out of the way in the picker to reduce accidental repetition.

Email and Telegram differ

Email

  • uses the connected Gmail account;
  • sends the selected audio as real attachments;
  • requires an Email subject;
  • enforces an attachment-size ceiling of about 18 MB for the complete message.

Telegram

  • sends to a selected writable chat, channel, or forum topic;
  • has no Email subject;
  • can later surface a leading reaction associated with the sent pack.
When both destinations are selected, Motif reports if only part of the send succeeds so you can retry the failed side deliberately.

Pack history

A successful send becomes a numbered pack in that opportunity’s history. Open it to review:
  • when it was sent;
  • which channel or channels were used;
  • destination details;
  • subject and message;
  • included audio, with playback;
  • an available Telegram reaction.
History answers “what did I send here?” It does not claim whether the recipient listened, replied, used, or accepted the music.

Hide contact details during a screen share

Enable Hide emails everywhere to mask Email and Telegram destination details throughout Opportunities. This is a presentation safeguard; it does not remove or change the saved contact.
Opportunities and Send Outs are different. Use Opportunities for one destination with rich private context. Use Send Outs for repeatable delivery to saved groups of destinations.
