# Rewind

> Look back at what you made, sent, and posted each month in Motif, and save your monthly recap as an image to share.

# Rewind

**Rewind** is a monthly recap of what you made, sent, and posted in Motif. Each finished month gets its own card, ready to save as an image and share.

Motif builds Rewind on your computer from what it already knows: your Library, Send Outs, Opportunities packs, and your YouTube and BeatStars publishing history.

## When a Rewind appears

At the start of a new month, Motif shows a notice: **Your *month* Rewind is ready**. Select **View** to open it.

A Rewind appears only for a month in which you made, sent, or posted something. Until then, Rewind shows **Nothing yet**.

If your creative role includes both Producer and Artist, you get a separate recap for each. The notice then offers **View Producer** and **View Artist**.

## Open Rewind any time

Open **Settings → Rewind → Rewind History** to see past months (up to the last 24). Select a month to open its card.

## What the card shows

A card shows only the figures that apply to that month.

| Producer recap | Artist recap |
| - | - |
| beats made | new songs |
| loops made | versions recorded |
| tracks sent out | shorts posted |
| beats posted | top producer |
| top collaborator | |

## Customize and save the card

* Choose **Dark card** or **White card** for the card color.
* Select a figure to remove it from the card. **Put everything back** restores all of them.
* Select **Save image**. Motif saves the card as an image in `Documents\Motif\Rewind` and confirms where it went. After saving, use **Show in folder** to open it in Windows Explorer.

If saving fails, Motif shows **Couldn’t save the image**. Try again.

Use the left and right arrow keys to move between cards, and `Escape` to close Rewind.
